Okay, So I saw an add about that new pink patch thing. Looks interesting, but Im not those lazy people that depend on diet pills. BUT HELP, my daughter is over weight. She’s only 13, and I’ve tried alot of things. I barley have time to bring her to a gym, and I wont want to give her adult diet pills. So I was thinking about putting pink patches on her. She agreed, shes only 13, and weighs 185 lbs. I know, im very sorry for letting her go that far. BUT CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ? IS SHE ALLOWED TO USE IT ???

You really should read the label on the box. She is most likely able to use it. But no diet patch is going to work without diet and exersize. Trust me! I know for experience. Plus, I know it’s hard, but that 8 glasses of water a day WILL help. Working out WITH her, would more than likely help too, it’s always good to have a partner while losing weight.

She needs to excersize!!! You have to MAKE time to get her to get some physical movement. Even if it is just a 25 minute walk a day. You SURELY have time for that!
Don’t put a patch on her. Offer hear fruits and veggies and a *low fat vegetarian diet*. She WILL lose the weight w/o cutting calories and starving. Slapping a patch on her will not do anything but hurt her self esteem.

It seems like you are wanting to put a band aid on a deep wound. The diet patch may take the weight off (never mind the huge side effects it will most likely have in future studies because I am sorry but a patch that makes you lose weight is not safe for anyone especially a 13 year old girl) but why did she put on the weight in the first place? And what happens in the future when she is faced with something difficult, she is going to look for the quick fix instead of getting to the root of the problem and finding a solution. It seems like your daughter needs a change of life style and NOT the diet patch. It is hard work to lose weight and if you can help her through this she will feel a huge sence of accomplishment and boost in self esteem. If you get encourage a quick fix you are also saying you don’t believe she can lose the weight herself, you should be her biggest cheer leader. Ways you can help thatwhat is in your fridge? She is only 13 so you have control over her diet, she can’t go to the drive thru with out you and you buy the food in the house or give her lunch money. Try making lunches that are healthy if you are giving her lunch money. Cooking together may help, try new healthy recipes together. Do you exersize yourself? Take her with you or simply make time to exersize WITH hera 30 minute walk 3 times a week will also give you time to listen to her and talk to her, this will help your relationship and keep her healthy. She is your daughter and should be number one prority in your life period. Also look for reasons she may be over eatinglike not having a mother’s attention, no attention from boys or fights with friendsthose kind of things are moutains at this age (all things a thirty minute talk/walk can help). She has to be reaching out for some kind of comfort in food, comfort she might be missing from you. That is the age they push away but need to know you are there and love them no matter what. I am sure this is all stuff you know it is just a matter of putting it in action, which is never easy. Just know you will be making the difference in raising a happy healthy daughter who believes in herself or a depressed girl who just scrapes by in life. In no way am I judging you or your situation I am simply throwing out ideas with the limited information I have seen. Good luck and please don’t put her on the patch.

hi! i have seen the diet patch information listed on the internet and it says that the pink patch is only for those who are 18y and older. i have a problem being overweight but my sister who is 10 also has an obesity problemmine is only by a 10-15lbs while hers is by almost 30lbs. being hispanic and having large home-cooked meals didnt make things any easier for us but i was in dance and found that it makes for great excercise. not only do you get the 2 or so hours from the actual class you then have to practice at home. that and i suggest something called Vita-Splash. its like crystal lite only it contains lots of vitamins. there is a certaing flavor (raspberry lemonade) that supplies your body with its needed fiber. if you dont know (which im sure that you do) fiber helps keep the body regular but also keeps the food moving so that it doesnt absorb any extra fat. it sounds like alot to do believe me i used to do it alot but it helps alot too. now she wont become skinny especially if being overweight runs in the family. but it does help alot.
*** and to everyone else who commented on this. She said she wanted help not criticism. so help. because youre just being a hinderance. ***

hey,I’m 14 and I’m 5′5 and I’m 135,and i think I’m fat. so i tried to do the tread mill, and eat the right foods, but god is it hard and annoying to keep going to the grocery store to get the same foods, and then eating the same foods,it sucks, and we are girls and we crave stuff. :P but, personally me,i would use the pink patch because it helps u with getting a lot of energy and being able to work out and be determined for what u are doing, and also make sure that ur daughter has what it takes to get skinny, because for me, it’s really hard to be determined without someone trained like a personal trainer yelling in your face to do more than what u can.
